Obtaining an API Key

If you are a developer and intend to connect to Maestro's API, you will first need to create an API key. Once you've logged into your Maestro site, you will be able to access Developer configuration under the Site Settings.

Click Generate API Key and take note of the Client ID and API Key. We'll use these later.

danger

Your API key is for private use within your application. You should protect it and never share it with anyone or expose it to your users. You can Revoke an API keys access at any time and should do so if it's in not being used, or if you need to recreate it to guarantee it's protection.
